Claudio Meninno is born in Venice in 1975. He studies architecture at IUAV (Venice) and at HUT Helsinki Institute of Technology (now Aalto University). In 2009 he obtains his PhD in Architectural and Urban Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Trieste with a thesis about «Housing – density and quality » and he specialises in “low-rise high-density houses”. Since 2006 he has been teaching as adjunct professor in Architectural Design, Big Infrastructures Design and he supervises the Integrated Design Laboratory at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Trieste. In 2013-2014 he is invited as visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). In parallel with university research he manages his own Studio (Meninno Architects) where he works on smallscale and larger-scale projects.
