I am Carolina Palella, a textile designer and freelance illustrator from Puglia. I create drawings by hand and with digital techniques designed for textile, clothing and interior design. After an artistic education I worked for years as a fashion designer, but I soon decided to deepen my passion for illustration applied to textiles and interior design. My favourite subjects come from Nature.The animal and plant world and
the female figure are my major sources of inspiration along with the work of my favourite designer, Emile-Allain Séguy. Lately, acrylic combined with pastels and digital illustration are the techniques I use most in my personal style. The unconventional use of colour and chromatic daring are among my hallmarks.
